Smart Translator is an offline Android voice and text translator in two editions, Persian–German and Persian–English. Both are free pilot downloads.
Speech recognition, translation and the spoken voice all run on the phone itself. You can hold a conversation on a train, at a counter or abroad without a SIM card, and nothing has to wait for a server.
Tap Speak and talk naturally, or type when the room is noisy or the words are private. Both routes lead to the same translation.
Your words appear as text first. Correct a name, a date or a number, then translate, so a mishearing does not become a mistranslation.
The translation is read aloud in the other language, so the other person hears it without leaning over your screen. Play it again whenever you need.
Copy a translation into a message, or look back through the current session's history to repeat what was said a moment ago.
Once the app has prepared its language models, it translates with no internet — on a plane, in a basement office or anywhere roaming is off.

Both editions are free to download. The Persian ↔ German edition is a working pilot; the Persian ↔ English edition is an early pilot, first released in October 2026.
Smart Translator is installed directly from a signed Android package, not from an app store. Download the edition you need below, check its SHA-256 checksum, and keep the third-party licence notices published with it. To update, install the new version over the existing app — do not uninstall it first.

There are two editions: Persian (Farsi) ↔ German and Persian (Farsi) ↔ English, each translating in both directions. Each edition handles one language pair; neither translates between German and English.
Yes. Each edition prepares its language models the first time you open it, then recognises speech, translates and speaks without a connection. Keep the app open until that first preparation has finished.
Android 9 or later on a 64-bit ARM processor. Most testing so far has been on a Galaxy S21 Ultra, so other phones may behave differently. There is no iPhone version.
Keep at least 6 GB free before installing either edition. Each installer is about 1.8 GB and the prepared language models need their own space.
Use it to understand and to be understood in everyday conversation. Important official, legal or medical translations need a qualified human translator to check them before anyone relies on them.
Download it free from this page and choose Persian ↔ German or Persian ↔ English. The app is not in app stores; if Android asks, allow installs from the app you used to open the file.
Yes. Each edition is its own Android app with its own language models and its own package name, so installing one does not replace the other.
